On November 17, a two-day business mission, organized by the Russian Export Center (REC) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, began work in Baku, Report informs.
As many as 31 Russian companies, as well as 36 key Azerbaijani companies and agencies are taking part in the business mission. Russian exporters will present their products and services in the field of urban planning in a digital city format.
“As part of the business mission, more than 150 bilateral meetings of Russian and Azerbaijani companies are planned. The REC Group is ready to support the projects of domestic exporters in Azerbaijan and offer the most comfortable solutions for their implementation. This includes financial support measures provided by Roseximbank. such as direct loans to foreign buyers, loans to banks of foreign buyers or financing of receivables secured by export proceeds,” Azer Talibov, chairman of the Board of Roseximbank JSC, said at the opening ceremony of the business mission.
In addition, Russia and Azerbaijan agreed to support small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries in the field of mutual export supplies. The corresponding memorandum of understanding was signed by the Russian Export Center and the Azerbaijan Small and Medium Business Development Agency.
The business mission, which kicked off on November 17, is continuation of the cycle of events that REC is conducting to demonstrate the potential and efficiency of Russian exporters in Azerbaijan.
Thus, in July 2021, REC held a business meeting in Azerbaijan, within the framework of which 11 biggest Russian companies presented their products.
