Obstacles to solving citizens' problems in Azerbaijan revealed

The fact that the e-mail addresses of some state bodies in Azerbaijan do not work and are not regularly monitored is an obstacle to solving the problems of many citizens, Hamlet Babayev, a lawyer of MG Consulting company, said at the round table on the quarterly (for December 2022-February 2023) results of the Online Public Control Platform (www.enezaret.az) project, Report informs.

He noted that a total of 1,832 applications were submitted to the platform:

"Of those applications, 866 have been resolved, 411 are in the process of being resolved, and 555 have not yet been resolved.

Issues related to the road surface, illegal parking, and stray dogs are difficult to solve."

Babayev said that sometimes the platform receives applications over irrelevant problems: " The main obstacle to solving public problems is that some government bodies still do not make efforts to solve the people's problem. In some cases, although the government bodies inform us that the problem has been solved, later, based on photo/video facts, the citizen's repeated application reveals that the problem has not been solved."
