New customs points to be established on Azerbaijan's border with Georgia and Russia

A project on the creation of new customs points on the border of Azerbaijan with Georgia and Russia has been prepared, State Customs Committee official Vugar Ahmadov said at the event "Consultations with interested parties regarding non-tariff barriers during trade and the rules of trade in services" held jointly by the International Trade Center and the Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments (AZPROMO), Report informs.
He noted that projects related to increasing the transit potential are being implemented: "In general, work is being done to simplify both export and import."
