New agreements on export of Azerbaijani products signed

At the Gulfood 2021 International Food Exhibition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on February 21-25, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), 14 Azerbaijani companies operating in the production of food, soft drinks, and mineral water demonstrated their products at the single country stand "Made in Azerbaijan".

Exhibitors and foreign companies showed great interest in Azerbaijani products with exceptional taste and quality. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs held meetings and discussions with foreign exporters on the sale of products. As a result of preliminary agreements reached at the exhibition, contracts worth $1.2 million were signed to export Azerbaijani products.

Azerbaijan's Agro Norm LLC has inked a contract with a Belarusian company to export tomato products worth $500,000 and a Ukrainian supermarket chain worth $600,000.

Besides, Ulduz Chocolate Factory LLC exported confectionery products worth $116,000 under contracts with companies from Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Azerbaijan has been represented at the Gulfood 2021 international exhibition for the fifth time this year.
