Mutual investments between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan announced 

Azerbaijan’s total investments in Uzbekistan amounted to $64 million, Jala Hajiyeva, Vice-President of the National Confederation of Business Organizations of Azerbaijan (Employers) of Azerbaijan, said at the Azerbaijan-Business Forum held in Baku.

According to her, Uzbekistan has invested $18.5 million in Azerbaijan so far.

“More than 40 Azerbaijani companies operate in Uzbekistan, while the number of Uzbek companies in Azerbaijan is 53. Azerbaijani companies are keen on doing business in Uzbekistan,” she added.

In 2021, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan amounted to $11.9 million, up 36% from the previous year.
