Mikayil Jabbarov: Current state of Azerbaijani economy requires new tools

In 2023, the goal is to expand the activities of the Business Development Fund and introduce new tools, Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov said at the Dayaq award ceremony, Report informs.

"So far, our main instrument has been the introduction of preferential loans through the Entrepreneurship Development Fund. The Enterprise Development Fund covers thousands of projects, but working with only one tool does not meet today's demand. From this point of view, we will create a number of financial instruments in accordance with the requirements of the Azerbaijani economy. In the first quarter of next year, we will hold a presentation," Jabbarov said.
