London to host Azerbaijan-UK Investment Forum next year

Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with the Minister for Exports of Great Britain, Lord Malcolm Offord, Report informs.

The Azerbaijani official emphasized the development of ties between the two countries and the expansion of relations in various fields of the economy. He said that effective trade-investment cooperation is being carried out with the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is the country that invests the most in Azerbaijan.

Lord Malcolm Offord noted that the UK attaches importance to the development of economic and trade relations with Azerbaijan, new areas of cooperation, and opportunities for joint initiatives.

The meeting also discussed the issues of organizing the Investment Forum next year in London, stimulating joint activity in the fields of energy and decarbonization, and supporting mutual initiatives in the fields of export, investment, and trade.
