KOBIA, GEN sign memo of mutual understanding on attracting investments in startups

At the Global Entrepreneurs Congress in Australia (GEC2023), a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and GEN Azerbaijan, Report informs via KOBIA.

The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, the President of GEN Jonathan Ortmans and the Executive Director of GEN Azerbaijan Seymur Huseynov.

The memorandum provides for the organization of events aimed at attracting investment in local startup projects, their coordination with potential investors and sources of financing, assistance in entering international markets, conducting seminars, training and mentoring programs, startup competitions, expanding connections between the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Azerbaijan and international research groups, exchange of information and experience.
