The opinions widespread in social networks and the media about limiting operation of online trading platforms in Azerbaijan do not correspond to reality, the State Service for Antimonopoly Regulation and Control of the Consumer Market under the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry told Report.
“The state service does not provide for any measures that would restrict the activities of domestic, as well as foreign digital (online) trading platforms in our country. Citizens openly use the services of online trading platforms within the current legislation,” reads the report.
