Expansion of Azerbaijani wine exports to China mulled

Baku. 25 August. REPORT.AZ/ A meeting with representatives of more than 10 companies, engaged in the production and export of wine in Azerbaijan, was held at a business center in Baku with the support of the Economy Ministry and with the organization of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AzPromo).

Report informs citing the AzPromo, trade envoy of Azerbaijan to China Teymur Nadiroghlu attended the meeting. During the meeting, the sides discussed the issue of the expansion of export of Azerbaijani wine to China.

It is noted that foreign countries, including China, express great interest in Azerbaijani wine, and the potential of the export of the product is very broad. For this very reason, relevant measures aimed at the expansion of the export of local wine to China are taken; the trade envoy to China holds meetings with business people and supports them. Teymur Nadiroghlu told about opportunities of supplying the Azerbaijani goods to the Chine market.
