Trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have been actively developing in recent years, and the number of mutual trade and joint business projects is growing rapidly, Tura Bobolov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Co-Chairman of the Business Council of Uzbekistan said during the 3rd meeting of the Uzbek-Azerbaijani Business Council in Tashkent.
Report informs via Uzbek media that the main purpose of the event is to ensure the further development of investment and trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as the strengthening of relations between the business circles of the two countries. Particular attention is paid to the consistent expansion of economic partnership in priority areas for the two countries, as well as to the intensification of mutual cooperation between business circles.
Presentation on the investment potential of Uzbekistan and business conditions, as well as infrastructure projects in various fields was held during the meeting.
The Azerbaijani delegation is headed by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.
