Bloomberg: Bidzina Ivanishvili's fortune grows $1.13B

The founder and honorary chairman of the ruling party "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" Bidzina Ivanishvili ranked 391st on Bloomberg's billionaires list, Report informs.

His net worth is $7.73 billion. From the beginning of the year until November 9, the billionaire's wealth increased by $1.13 billion.

The publication's list includes 500 billionaires worldwide. According to Bloomberg's assessment, the majority of Ivanishvili's wealth consists of stocks, fixed-income assets and cash, alternative investments, and commodities.

Additionally, the honorary party chairman has assembled an art collection worth $1 billion. Ivanishvili made his fortune in Russia during the 1990s, and later moved to Georgia, where he was involved in charitable activities for a long time.

In 2011, he announced his intention to enter politics and founded the "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" party, which, in coalition with four other parties, came to power following the October 2012 elections.
