Belarus considers Azerbaijan as logistics hub for exports to Iran, Kuwait and UAE

Belarus is considering cooperation with Azerbaijan for the delivery of Belarusian goods to Iran, Kuwait and the UAE, Marina Belousova, branch director of Beltamozhservice, a Belarusian logistics operator, said during the Azerbaijan-Belarus business forum held in Baku, Report informs.

"Since February 2025, Beltamozhservice has become a participant in the pilot project of Belarus for the delivery of goods to distant regions. Thanks to this project, goods are transported by land through Russian ports, and then delivered to various parts of the world by sea transport," she said.

According to Belousova, this short-term experience has allowed for a better understanding of how shipments are carried out and the needs of Belarusian exporters in this area: "At the same time, interest in this process has been observed from countries that use Belarus's export potential and cargo."

The director added that the main products are wood processing, cellulose and food products: "The next stage of development of the export strategy of Belarus and the logistics operator Beltamozhservice will be cooperation with Azerbaijan. We consider this not only as the development of the trade potential of our countries, but also as an important logistics chain using Azerbaijan's transport capabilities for the delivery of Belarusian products to Iran, Kuwait and the UAE."
