"South Korea might be one of the main markets for Azerbaijan and we are ready to work in this direction," acting President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Yusuf Abdullayev said at Azerbaijan-South Korea business forum, Report informs.
Abdullayev said that such business forums are important for extension of trade links: "Along with this, Azerbaijan is ready to participate in food and industry exhibition to be held in South Korea in 2020."
According to him, export of Azerbaijan’s food and industrial products to the South Korean market is of great importance: "We support export initiatives of the businessmen."
Thereafter, Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kim Tong Op said that the trade turnover between the two countries made up $227 million in 2018: "We hope the trade links will develop in the future."
At the same time, AZPROMO and the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to expand mutual cooperation.
