Azerbaijani citizens' real estate purchases in Türkiye up by over 17%

In January-April 2025, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 262 apartments in Türkiye, 39 apartments or 17.5% more compared to 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute.

In April alone, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 59 apartments in Türkiye, which is 5 apartments or 9.2% more compared to April 2024.

In April, Azerbaijani citizens ranked 6th in the list of house buyers in Türkiye.

In total, 6,049 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Türkiye in January-April, 964 apartments or 13.7% less compared to the same period in 2024.

In April alone, foreigners bought 1,446 apartments in Türkiye, which is 162 apartments or 12.6% more than in April 2024.

The largest apartment buyers in Türkiye during the reporting period were again Russian citizens with 1,055 apartments, 599 apartments or 36.2% less than in the four months of last year.

In April alone, Russians bought 276 apartments in Türkiye, which is 17 units or 5.8% less than in the same month of last year.

Iranian citizens took the next place with 576 apartment purchases in January-April, which is 131 units or 18.5% less than in the same period of last year.

In April, 128 apartments were sold to Iranians, which is 11 apartments or 9.4% more than in April last year.

Ukrainians complete the top 3. In January-April, Ukrainian citizens bought 424 apartments in Türkiye, 28 apartments or 6.2% less than in the same period of 2024.

In April, Ukrainians purchased 120 apartments in Türkiye, which is 29 apartments or 31.9% more than in the same month of 2024.

In 2024, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 866 apartments in Türkiye.
