Azerbaijan is set to take steps to improve its unified database of utility service subscribers and enable broader use of this data across different systems.
Report has learned that the authorities plan to increase the accuracy of records linked to PIN (personal identification numbers), TIN (tax identification numbers), and the national address register to 90%.
To achieve this, Azerishig, the Water Resources Agency, Azeristiliktechizat and Azeriqaz (SOCAR) will develop a joint action plan, which is expected to be submitted by May 15.
As part of the process, inspectors will collect updated information on PIN numbers, TIN and addresses using mobile devices such as tablets.
The measures are aimed at assessing and improving the reliability of utility-related data. A key objective is to ensure that all information is compiled according to unified standards and aligned with official sources.
