Azerbaijan to export tinned products to UAE

Baku. 5 December. REPORT.AZ/ The next export mission of Azerbaijan visited Dubai city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Report informs referring to the Ministry of Economy.

According to information, the mission organized by the Ministry of Economy and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) for the promotion of Made in Azerbaijan brand included representatives of local companies operating in production and processing of fruit juices, natural mineral waters, fruit and vegetable products, dried fruits, canned foods, honey, tea, milk and dairy products, meat and meat products.

Azerbaijani businessmen held bilateral meetings with UAE companies, discussed sales opportunities and distributorship of Azerbaijani products in markets. An initial agreement was reached with Al-Maya, Lulu markets and Al-Ghamdi company on export of canned products of Azerbaijan's Brightman BMC to UAE and Bangladesh.

Azerbaijan's Sunfood company has started negotiations on export of pomegranate juice and tea, while Kerkom and Azeri companies hold talks with Al-Maya, Lulu and Al-Qudwa for export of honey to UAE markets.

Members of export mission also got acquainted with the activities of markets and large stores.
