Azerbaijan starts importing perfumes from Luxembourg

During January-October 2024, Azerbaijan imported 1,364 tons of perfumes and eau de toilette worth $28.6 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This is 21% more in value and 0.01% less in quantity compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased perfumes and eau de toilette from:
- France: 109.3 tons (+36%) worth $11.5 million (+42%);
- United Arab Emirates: 279.1 tons (-0.8%) worth $3.4 million (+16%);
- China: 424.2 tons (-18%) worth $2.4 million (-0.2%);
- Spain: 61.4 tons (+70%) worth $2.3 million (+15%);
- Russia: 185 tons (+7.6%) worth $2.2 million (+25%).
This year, for the first time in the last 13 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade available for public use are until 2011), supplies were received from Luxembourg (0.2 tons worth $2,200).
After a year and 3 months, Azerbaijan has resumed perfume imports from the Netherlands (0.4 tons worth $15,000).
