Azerbaijan's spendings on beverage imports soar

From January through September 2021, Azerbaijan imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and vinegar for $58.7 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the committee, this figure is $10 million (20.5%) more than in the same period last year.
The monetary value of Azerbaijan’s beverage and vinegar exports during the first nine months of 2021 reached $10.575 million, $1.5 million or 16.4% more than a year ago.
During the reporting period, expenditures on imports of beverages and vinegar accounted for 0.7% of total imports, and revenues from exports of these products accounted for 0.07% of total export revenues.
