Azerbaijan's progressive business reforms showcased in Europe

Azerbaijan participated in a hybrid-format meeting of the working groups "Company Law and Open Information" and "Beneficial Ownership" of the European Business Registry Association (EBRA), held in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to Report, Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Mirza Mirzoyev, Head of the Main Department for Registration and Taxpayer Accounting at the State Tax Service, and Orkhan Abdinov, Head of the Financial Monitoring Department.

During the discussions, Azerbaijan presented its advanced experience, progressive reforms, and the successful outcomes achieved in the field of business registration.

The meetings addressed the activities of business entities in the context of global challenges, with a focus on transparency, improving company legal frameworks, and ensuring open information about ownership. Participants also discussed prospects for cooperation and emphasized the importance of joint efforts in the fields of "Company Law and Open Information" and "Beneficial Ownership."
