Azerbaijan sees over 3-fold surge in corn imports

Azerbaijan imported 35,319 tons of corn, valued at just under $8.5 million, in the first two months of 2025, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the imports increased 3.2-fold in volume, adding 24,443 tons, and 2.6-fold in value, with an additional $5.253 million.

Corn imports accounted for 0.2% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditure during this time.
