Azerbaijan sees over 11% surge in public catering turnover

The turnover of public catering in Azerbaijan exceeded 1.877 billion manats (just over $1.104 million) in the first 10 months of 2024, up 11.1% year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the country’s State Statistical Committee.

In the private sector, legal entities contributed 953 million manats (almost $560.6 million), accounting for 51.2% of the total turnover, marking an increase of 12.9 percent from the corresponding period of 2023.

Meanwhile, 48.8% of turnover in the private sector for the reporting period fell to individuals' share engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.
