Azerbaijan sees almost 4% decline in rice imports

Azerbaijan imported 13,855 tons of rice, valued at $13.472 million during the first two months of 2025, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the imports dropped by 3.9 percent or 566 tons in volume and fell by 11.9 or $1.831 million in value.

In January-February 2025, the cost of rice imports accounted for 0.3% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditures.
