Azerbaijan's withdrawal from EITI not created problem in attracting investment

Baku. 8 June. REPORT.AZ/ "Although, Azerbaijan has left the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), the country continues to comply with principles of transparency".
Report informs, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahil Babayev said.
According to him, Azerbaijan's removal from EITI has not created problems to the country in attracting investment: "Talks were underway with international financial institutions in regard with a number of projects. Various attempts were made to prevent these talks. However, we reached an agreement with these institutions as a result of professional approach".
