Azerbaijan's trade with Georgia increased almost 44%

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia amounted to $668.5 million in January-July 2026, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.
This is a $203.7 million (43.8%) increase compared to the same period last year.
Over the past year, Azerbaijan's exports to Georgia grew by 50.8%, reaching $576.7 million, while imports from Georgia increased by 11.5% to $91.8 million.
During the reporting period, trade with Georgia accounted for 2.2% of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover.
Exports accounted for 2.9% of total exports, while imports from Georgia accounted for 0.9% of total imports.
Overall, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $29.216 billion in January-July.
Compared to the same period in 2025, foreign trade turnover increased by 1.3%.
Exports amounted to $19.336 billion, while imports amounted to $9.881 billion. Over the year, export volume increased by 27%, while imports decreased by 27.4%.
