Azerbaijan's spending on leather imports from Türkiye up by over 31%

In January 2025, Azerbaijan imported leather and leather products worth 806,000 from Türkiye, 31.3% more compared to the same period in 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

In January, Türkiye's total leather and leather products exports increased by 5.2% year-on-year, reaching $126.46 million. The largest importers of leather and leather products from Türkiye were Germany ($12.94 million; up 18.7% compared to a year ago), Iraq ($7.95 million; up 33.8%), and Italy ($7.1 million; down 17.7%).
