Azerbaijan's public catering turnover up by 22%

In January-August 2023, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 21.9% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 1,314.7 million manats ($0.77 billion).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 50.9% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 49.1% to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

According to the information, 11.674 million manats ($6.87 million) of public catering turnover fell to the public sector and 1,303.01 million manats ($0.766 billion) to the private sector.

The turnover of legal entities increased by 20.2% compared to last year and amounted to 645.7 million manats ($379.82 million).
