Azerbaijan's public catering turnover soars about 7%

In January-March 2024, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 6.7% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 452.1 million manats ($266 million).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 4.962 million manats ($2.92 million) of the annual turnover was formed in the state sector and 447.1 million manats ($263 million) in the non-state sector.

Of this, 51% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 49% to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

The turnover of legal entities grew by 7.4% compared to last year and reached 227.9 million manats ($134.06 million).
