Azerbaijan's public catering turnover soars 6%

In January-May 2024, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 6% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 801.8 million manats ($471.39 million).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 7.98 million manats ($4.69 million) of the annual turnover was formed in the state sector and 793.8 million manats ($466.69 million) in the non-state sector.

Of this, 51.1% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 48.9% to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

The turnover of legal entities grew by 6.9% compared to last year and reached 406 million manats ($238.71 million).
