Azerbaijan's public catering turnover soars 13%

In January-February 2024, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 12.8% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 294.9 million manats ($173 million).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 3.297 million manats ($1.94 million) of the annual turnover was formed in the state sector and 291.601 manats ($171.53 million) in the non-state sector.

Of this, 50.4% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 49.6% to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

The turnover of legal entities grew by 13.1% compared to last year and reached 146.9 million manats ($86.41 million).
