Azerbaijan’s leather import costs from Türkiye drop by over 15%

Azerbaijan’s leather imports from Türkiye totaled $4.989 million in the first four months of 2025, marking a 15.4% decline compared to the same period last year, Report informs, referring to the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
In April alone, Türkiye exported $1.093 million worth of leather and related products to Azerbaijan, reflecting a significant 36.8% drop year-on-year.
Overall, Türkiye’s leather exports decreased by 2.3% year-on-year to $502.46 million in the first four months of 2025. April’s exports also declined by 2.3%, totaling $102.962 million.
