Azerbaijan’s Entrepreneurship Development Fund becomes member of UN Global Compact

The Entrepreneurship Development Fund under Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry has become a member of the UN Global Compact, Report informs referring to the Fund.
In this regard, the Fund held a meeting with a representative of the Global Compact.
Chairman of the Board of the Fund Osman Khaliyev said at the meeting that the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” and the holding in Azerbaijan of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) again draw attention to the consideration of environmental, social and governance aspects in the construction of strategies and events to create strategies and activities in the field of environmental protection.
