Azerbaijan’s economy minister: ‘Number of labor contracts has risen by 350,888’

Since 2019, due to the reforms aimed at formalizing labor relations, the number of labor contracts has risen by 350,888, the Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, wrote on X, Report informs.

“In the private sector of the nonoil industry alone, this increase amounts to 331,018 contracts. Throughout this period, the private sector's contribution to labor contracts within the non-oil industry has surged from 38.5% to 49.7%,” Minister Jabbarov said.
