Azerbaijan liquid meter imports from Germany soar

In January-May of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 1,393 liquid meters worth $59,100, marking a year-on-year decrease of 91% in number and 86% in value, Report informs, citing State Statistical Committee.

During this period, Azerbaijan imported from:

- Russia: 10 units worth $30,300 (no supply a year ago);

- China: 1,335 units (-75%) worth $10,800 (-96%);

- Germany: 16 units (+5 times) worth $8,800 (+3.5 times);

- Italy: 18 units (+50%) worth $5,400 (+3 times);

- Slovakia: 1 unit worth $2,000 (no supply a year ago).

In 2024, 66.3% of the 22,636 liquid meters imported to Azerbaijan came from Georgia.
