Azerbaijan increases wheat imports by 56%

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 602,255 tons of wheat, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
The import value of this volume of wheat was $130.661 million.
These figures represent an increase of 216,233 tons (56%) in terms of volume and $45.482 million (53.4%) in terms of value compared to the same period last year.
During the 6-month period, the cost of wheat imports constituted 1.1% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditures.
