Azerbaijan discusses investment in renewable energy with Chinese company

Azerbaijan has discussed investment in the renewable energy sector with China's PowerChina Resources Ltd. company, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.

The minister wrote on X:

"During our meeting with Zhong Haixiang, Chairman of PowerChina Resources Ltd., we discussed prospects for cooperation in applying modern technologies and innovative solutions.

We explored opportunities for diversifying joint activities, investing in renewable energy, expanding export potential, and advancing efficient water resource management projects through public–private partnership (PPP) models."
