Iran’s trade turnover with the Caspian littoral states in nine months of 2022 (March 21 – December 21) increased by 10.04% to $2.76 billion, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.
The cargo turnover dropped by 10.73% to 5.1 million tons.
In the reporting period, the key trade partner of Iran was Russia ($1.63 billion, down 1.75% in annual comparison). The cargo turnover with this country slid 19.51% to $2.86 million.
Russia was followed by Azerbaijan with $533.11 million of trade turnover (+26.67%) and 584,588 tons of cargo turnover (+9.76%), Turkmenistan with $358.850 million (+35.34%) and 1.03 million tons (-0.28%), and Kazakhstan with $239.36 million (+40.39%) and 619,077 tons (+29.53%).
Exports constituted $1.52 billion and 2.99 million tons, respectively, down 47.43% and up 6.24% from the previous year.
