Azerbaijan and Germany sign roadmap to expand investment ties

A roadmap for expanding trade, economic and investment relations between Azerbaijani and German companies has been signed.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, the document was signed during a meeting between Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Michael Harms, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy.

The Eastern Committee of the German Economy, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan, and the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Foreign Trade signed the document.

The implementation of the document will stimulate the strengthening of bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives.

In addition, the meeting discussed the prospects for the development of relations between business circles. The opportunities created by the favorable business and investment environment of Azerbaijan for expanding the activities of German companies in the country were highlighted.

The parties also exchanged views on the development of economic relations between the two countries and the deepening of mutual business and trade relations.
