Danish singer performs "Sari Galin"

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ Danish singer Gudrun Holck has performed famous Azerbaijani song “Sari Galin” at a concert in Copenhagen, informs Report citing AzerTAg.

Accompanied by Kamala Maisgizi on piano, she performed the song in English and Azerbaijani to a rapturous applause from the audience. Holck also sang “Girdim yarin bagchasina” and “Kuchalara su sepmishem”.

The Danish singer said she is fond of Azerbaijani music. Holck said she acquainted with Azerbaijan and its music through Kamala Maisgizi. The singer added she plans to perform “Sari Galin” in Danish too.

The concert also featured performance of Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Bulgarian and African songs.

Maisgizi performed works by Azerbaijani composers.
