The Gobustan Codes collection unveiled at Nine Senses Art Center

The Nine Senses Art Center recently hosted a showcase of The Gobustan Codes collection.

According to Report, the collection was presented by Gunay Aliyeva, designer of the local brand Amorini Concept.

Reinterpreting ancient Gobustan symbols, the designer transformed them into contemporary forms of men’s and women’s fashion.

The collection was created in collaboration with Nine Senses Art Center and became part of The Gobustan Codes research exhibition, which opened in November 2024 and will run until August 30, 2025.

At the core of the exhibition is the idea of artists as conduits of ancient knowledge, bridging the past and present through their creativity.

The central motif of the collection is the circle, symbolizing the unity of art, people, and time. The designers believe that humanity originates from light, inherently connecting us all.

The Gobustan Codes exhibition combines scientific and spiritual approaches to exploring the origins of humanity and art. The display features five Gobustan petroglyphs, which served as the foundation for the creation of five luminous mandalas—modern interpretations of ancient symbols infused with elements of artistic expression.
