Uzbekistan interested in co-op with Azerbaijan in seed supply

Uzbekistan's Buxoro Agroklaster LLC has expressed its readiness to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of raw cotton seed export, Report informs.

The company's representatives informed the Azerbaijani delegation about their intention during their visit to Bukhara.

The delegation included representatives of the press services of state bodies and departments, as well as the media of Azerbaijan, who made a press tour to Uzbekistan, organized by MEDIA jointly with the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The guests were told that Buxoro Agroklaster is one of the largest agro-industrial complexes in the region, engaged in the cultivation, deep processing and export of agricultural products.

It was noted that the enterprises of the complex have introduced modern technologies, quality control laboratories and a full production cycle. The management of Buxoro Agroklaster noted their interest in expanding the directions of raw cotton seed export, including the Azerbaijani market. The next item on the program was the Ark Citadel, a symbol of state power and one of the main attractions of Bukhara.

The guests were told about the history of the fortress, its architectural features and its importance in the governance of the Bukhara Khanate. The participants of the visit also viewed the museum exhibits located on the territory of the complex.

Then the delegation visited the Kalon architectural ensemble, including the Kalon minaret, the Kalon mosque and the Mir-i-Arab Madrasa. The majestic minaret, built in the 12th century and still considered a symbol of Bukhara, made a special impression.
