Minister: Cooperation with OTS is a priority for Azerbaijan

Cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is a priority for Azerbaijan, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said at the 3rd Agribusiness Development Forum held in Guba, Report informs.

He noted that by using the OTS platform, it is possible to contribute to the solution of common problems in the agricultural sector and the development of the sector in the region: "Considering that climate change has not only regional but also global effects in agriculture, international cooperation is very important for us. In this direction, as the Ministry, we cooperate closely with international organizations. OTS countries have vast and fertile agricultural lands, diverse climate types, and abundant water resources. OTS countries, which are important producers and exporters of many agricultural products, have great potential in terms of agricultural production. It is very gratifying that OTS, which is currently participating in the forum with its representatives, shares its experiences with us today."
