Majnun Mammadov: 5% of irrigation systems used in Azerbaijan are controlled ones

Today, controlled irrigation systems make up 5% of total irrigation systems in Azerbaijan, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said at the Agrarian Innovations Forum, Report informs.

According to Mammadov, this number is quite small:

"One of our main goals is to scale it up. Also, global warming has negative effects on agriculture. Therefore, proper management of water is very important."
