Baku to host International Forum of Agricultural Innovations

The 2nd International Forum of Agricultural Innovations, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, will be held in Baku as part of the 18th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition - Caspian Agro and the InterFood Azerbaijan 30th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition, Narmin Karimli, a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, said at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the exhibitions, Report informs.

"As part of the forum, it is planned to discuss the agropark model from the point of view of modern agricultural approaches, the use of artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector, prospects for the development of the agricultural insurance system, sustainable food systems, exchange of experience in the field of agricultural and food sciences, innovative agricultural technologies, the role of women in the agricultural sector and other relevant topics. The forum is expected to be attended by foreign guests, including ministers," she said.

Karimli stressed that this forum is important in terms of strengthening international economic ties in the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan.

The forum will be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Center for Agricultural Innovation, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations and the organizers of the exhibition on May 14-15. More than 200 international and local representatives, officials and experts are expected to participate in the event.
