Azerbaijan sees nearly 23% surge in fruit export revenues

In January 2025, Azerbaijan exported just over 43,261 tons of fruit, valued at $44.71 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 23.5% and 22.8%, respectively, Report informs, referring to the country’s Agriculture Ministry.
During the month, the most exported products included persimmons, apples, pears, quinces, pomegranates, and citrus fruits.
"The expansion of intensive orchards in our country and the maturation of those planted in previous years play a major role in increasing production and exports," the ministry stated.
