Azerbaijan represented at AIM For Climate meeting

Azerbaijan was represented at the first Ministerial Meeting of the Agricultural Innovation Mission for Climate Initiative (AIM For Climate) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Report informs, citing the Ministry of Agriculture.

The meeting discussed issues of reducing the negative impact of global climate change on the agricultural sector by increasing investment in climate innovation and food innovation systems.

Azerbaijani Minister Inam Karimov said that the Azerbaijani government is responsible for its commitments under the Paris Agreement and is ready for any fruitful partnership and joint activities within the coalition.

The sides exchanged views on the goals of AIM For Climate, and the participants expressed interest in further expansion of cooperation in this area.
