Azerbaijan quintuples export of animal fat

During the first six months of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 447.86 tons (+5 times) of animal fat (cattle, sheep, and goats) worth $171,650 (+9.6 times), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
In the reporting period, 291.79 tons worth $108,120 were sold to Kazakhstan and 156.1 tons worth $63,530 to Afghanistan.
At the same time, Azerbaijan imported 53.43 tons of animal fat (+2.4 times) worth $80,860 (+3.1 times) in January-June 2022.
Some 19.41 tons of products worth $34,000 were purchased from Iran, 15 tons (+50%) worth $24,710 (+2.1 times) from Brazil, and 19 tons (+58.3%) worth $22,140 (+59%) from Ukraine.
