Azerbaijan purchased over $15M worth of food through state order in 1Q2025

In the first quarter of 2025, food products worth 26.655 million manats ($15,679 million) were purchased through state order in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country’s Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the ministry, 5.9% of state funds were saved during the year.

During the first quarter, 110 purchasing organizations bought 190 types of food from 96 manufacturers and sellers with whom they contracted through the electronic portal.

The centralized procurement of food products through state order is carried out by Agrarian Procurement and Supply OJSC, which belongs to the ministry.
