Azerbaijan increases wheat imports by about 15%

Azerbaijan imported 1,167,957 tons of wheat worth $398,009,000 in January-November 2022, up 14.7% and 38.4%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan spent $340 for each ton of wheat, 20.5% more than a year earlier.

In 2021, Azerbaijan imported 1,017,503 tons of wheat worth $287,557,000.
