Azerbaijan increases meat imports by 34%

Azerbaijan imported 3,165 tons of meat worth $5.72 million last month.
Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that this is an increase of 808 tons (34.2%) or $1.416 million (32.8%) from 2021.
Expenditures on meat imports accounted for 0.59% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditures.
In January, the country produced 44,400 tons of meat, up 3% than in the corresponding period of 2021.
